I bought a pair 3-4 years ago. I definitely used them a lot in my MTB shoes.. riding, hike a biking, bikepark, etc.. after a few years, they are done (overused) and smelly. But this is normal after that much riding. I just bought a new pair but went for the NO support one. It felt weird at first but don't notice it now. I don't think we need arch supports all the time and it will be a good test. ...
